A 1966 microwave route map shows Kansas City having routes in service to the following directions and destinations, for telephone and television traffic except as noted:
Kansas City included a Television Operating Center, where Long Lines technicians controlled and monitored network television transmission, and delivered network programming to Kansas City TV stations.
